On 22nd November 2007, is the day of the release of the Primary School Leaving Examination results. It is abominable that I had come late to school! Well...when I make my way to the school hall, our principal, Mrs Chew had already started announcing the highest score for PSLE in Greenridge Primary... I was so embarrassed as I am late thus I seat down quickly and settled down.
After that, it is the most jumpy and agitating part! Our teacher is giving out the PSLE result slip!!! I was so nervous and my whole body began to shake like a jelly. Out of the blue, I heard, "Jonathan!" calling in somewhere in front. When I look front, it's my teacher shouting out my name uproariously. "Goodness Gracious! Wonder how much I score?" I mumbled terrifically. I took my result slip from my teacher's hands. I covered it and opened it slowly (step-by-step). At first, it would be an exultation. "A" for English, Mothertongue and Science except for my maths, "B" (Yuke! Absolutely contemptible!) However, when it came to the last part (the aggregate result), I had a rude shock to see that I had only scored 214 for PSLE? This is totally absurd! And of course, my friends started to compare results curiously. People say that 214 is prodigious for me. But I think that it is abhorrent instead because I endeavoured to score 222 and above for my PSLE! Nevertheless, I am happy about my results beacuse I can go to express stream furthemore, I did not get any earful from parents. Later, all of us go back home liao.
