RE: Student Councilors (SC) Training CampI was being selected for going to the SC training camp. In fact, I thought that this camp is a merry one. But when I got there, the teacher said that it was a TRAINING CAMP! I was disappointed as some of the activities were boring and not fascinating at all! There are some games which requires us to have teamwork spirit and sufficient cooperation if not we wouldn't win. The good news was there would be prizes if we won. However, it is just useless as we lost abominably but we shouldn't give up. At this moment, I got to know each other very well. In the CLC room, there were presentations. The teachers wanted some of us to present to see whether we had the potential to become a student leader. Who knows? Mdm Chin called me, but pronounced my name incorrectly. She said, "Jonathan
Pia" instead of "Jonathan
Peh". I giggled. I told her that I did not need the micro phone... because I would get jumpy if I used it so I decided to speak louder. Who knows again?! I had been addicted by Ms Wong's (Geography teacher) "OKAY" I speak almost exactly like her!!! Oh my foot! I should not have teased her... this teaches me a lesson.
During sleeping time, it was cozy and cool. The breeze blew and I could feel it while I was sleeping. Weirdly after the breeze, I could hear thunders. They were indeed loud. The flashing of lightnings flashed brightly till I could see brightness in my eyes while I am still closing it. Anyway, I still had a pleasant sleep.
The next day, we would had over amazing race. There would be 40 stations and we were required to answer them in 5 hours. If one limited the time allocated, would be penalised. We walked about 6 kilometres around Bukit panjang to Choa Chu Kang. Is extremely exhausting. But we still had to persevere and endure. When it was 4 pm, we were dismissed
