RE: DISPERSION (RAINBOW)

Hey guys! Guess what I saw today? I saw rainbow(s)! This process occurs when the rain and sun is present and today we experience such weather!

Wow?! Double-rainbow in case you didn't notice. (taken in my school)

(An obvious ranibow and a fading rainbow)

A rainbow (taken at the ramp, way to music room)

Double-rainbow (taken near Jelepang LRT station)

A clearer view

"ROY G BIV"

A rainbow is nice isn't it? The rainbow started to fade off at about 7.10pm while I noticed it during my journey home.

Let just say that I have not run for the heats for sports day yet... it has been postponed due to the bad weather, halfway through the heats...

So lucky to see a "live" rainbow(s) first time in my life!!! Somemore, it's around bukit panjang area.

RE: BAND SYF SOUND CHECK

Hey peeps!! Let me tell you people something.

I had a BAND sound check tomorrow at Singapore Conference Hall! WOW! I am so excited! I will be leaving at 12.30pm which also means that I am going to miss one period of maths and two periods of science class! On the other hand, I am quite afraid that I may not catch up, especially Maths! Hey, my classmates, if you guys had witnessed this, please help me inform to Mr Yap. Thanks a lot! And yeah, the geography test was quite tricky although is an open-book graded assignment. :/

By the way, the song you are listening now in my blog is our SYF choice piece called "The Merry Widow".

Angry about some stuffs today! Dinie, you are biased mann! What.. Edward and Jonathan got the highest for geography 1st Graded Assignment... Let's clap for Edward and not Jonathan. WHAT the hell mann... ok lah nvm.. forget it anyways :] ....

I was shock when I heard that I was the highest actually... Because people like Wei Ling or Bao Jie should get top what... but I didn't expect that this will happen....

~ Congratulations to EDWARD also!! ^^ ~

And yah people! This saturday, our band with 8 or 9 other bands of other school will be performing a concert at Singapore Conference Hall!! If you want to support our band, please approach me for the purchase of tickets ($10). THANKS!

Other than that, I shall say that Yi Jiang was disgusting in a way as he spilt his saliva :O and put a crushed drawing block in my poor bottle... I was pissed off so I didn't do anything to him... Forget it lah.. even if I refer this to the blue room, I will still be confronted by him again :/

Poor bottle, I have to throw you into the dustbin liao... because I will never want to taste his saliva.. I will throw out...

RE: BAND NIGHT PRACTICE, YESTERDAY

A set of timpani

NOTE: It's not about just pushing it up, not that simple! Did you notice there are only two wheels at the front and a base (no wheel) behind? YEAH RIGHT! In this case, you have to lift up the timpani a bit and push it up on the ramp with only two wheels supporting it! Now, you see how hard it is to push the timpani up on a ramp at this kind of situation.

Hey everybody! Just have my hair cut yesterday and it looks quite funny... the front part lahh.. the uncle cut so short like Aloysius.. Guess how's my chinese test?

Let me tell you... IT IS HARD!!!!

Miss Tan setted the paper in a way which is difficult.... no wander last year's students keep complaining about the difficulty of her tests. Miss Tan, don't set so hard next time lehh... I will fail de lehhs... ... ... Getting worried about my chinese now.... .... ....

My English might also be in the soup because Ms Lee told us that many of us did not make it. Again, my comprehension is weak...

My studies are declining sooner or later. I need tuition/remedial le!!!

And yeah, our band is really working hard on our SYF... Mr Er, our instructor said that we are PRETTY ready for SYF. My mind was questioning me whether we could obtain a GOLD? But he have not finish his sentence yet:

"BUT! You guys cannot dream of GOLD anymore..."

This is because our Overture Number 1 is gonna be in deep water... OUR INTONATION IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE!!

How sia? Left about 1 month only lehh!!! Not much time left.

By the way, share a few things with you guys during my NIGHT band practice yesterday. I almost dropped the smallest timpani when I was pushing it up on the ramp from the Second Floor to the Music Room in a fast pace. Then who knows? The timpani ALMOST TOPPLE halfway through the ramp! IT WAS KINDA 15 degrees more to the floor!!! Fortunately, I managed to use all my strength to control before it really touched the floor with a loud thud. I heaved a sigh of relief.

I WILL NEVER CARRY A TIMPANI ON A RAMP AGAIN! NOT IN MY LIFE ANYMORE!!

It's utterly dangerous! Hey guys! Don't think that a small timpani is not heavy when you push it up on the ramp! It requires lots of strength! If the timpani really dropped, I think I could have run 30 rounds! That's what my friends said...

RE: SITUATION TODAY

Drawn by Anonymous.

Hi, I'm back for blogging again. Hmm.. look at the above picture. Will that make you laugh? I guess so.

Basically, it's quite an acceptable day today except for some distractions from YJ. Well, there is another test tomorrow. CHINESE! I am extremely scared let me tell you. This is because my chinese is quite weak. To be frank, I hate the "zong he tian kong" as it is the hardest among all. I shall study later...

Today after peer tutoring, Aizuddin, Jun Xiang and I decided to do the talentime practice. But in the end, they escaped from this! I remembered that I had reminded Aizuddin to proceed to Music Room immediately after he had finished his peer tutoring worksheet. Perhaps, Jun Xiang and Aizuddin had already make this atrocious plan or trick on me! Grr.. nvm.... anyways, we still got long time to our performance.

When I was on my way home, I was quite surprised as I saw her at the road from the LRT. Not really sure sia... but when we passed by each other. It was really true. HAHAS.. I had an accurate sense of eyesight, YAY ME... Ok, that was LaMe ~

Next week, it will be a very busy week. I got band events or practices the entire week, excluding Sunday. WOW! You know why? SYF is looming ahead and we are going to Singapore Conference Hall for a sound check and perhaps another concert, together with 9 other bands, on the next saturday.

I shall end here ba! Bye everyone and dearly classmates, be prepared for mother tougue test tomorrow! :]

RE: TERRIFYING SITUATION?

Hello peeps! I'm back again for blogging!

Well first of all, I have to say something about my life today in school.

There are two tests today and both of them had moderate difficulty. However, Maths is arduous! Mr Chong's words are right! The Maths Level Test was indeed difficult. I wonder how much I'll get. English was not that bad but the vocabulary part is indeed hard mann... My vocabulary is gonna be atrocious soon. I should get working and read more books to find vocabulary words.

After school, something really bad happened. "They" were arguing for some issues in our class and many people were shocked. If I am not wrong some people were frightened by that horrendous situation. Both sides were in a "volcano" mood. But fortunately, one of them give in and to prevent things from getting worse. How sensible! LOLS.

Then, the LUMPY Yi jiang was so indeed lumpy/mischievous. He was HUGGING me tightly and worse still was spinning me!! I was utterly giddy. The second time he comes, I was absolutely exasperated. He spins me till I fell down and my ear hit against the sharp edge of a wall. My butt was "stomping" on the floor with a silent thud. AHH!! My butt so painful now...
Butt nevermind... but my ear is VERY RED! In order to seek a "fake" revenge, I chased him around and intended to push him against the wall. Nonetheless, I was stopped by ChangZheng. He said, "You must be sensible lah, give way and treat him as invisible boy." I was kinda speechless I and agree with the statement.

After that, I went to the toilet to place some wet tissue paper on my left ear. So, Janie asked, "Why did you do that?" I replied without hesitation, "THE YI JIANG go pushed me against the wall till my ear dropped on the floor..." Janie was shocked and she exclaimed, "YOUR EAR DROPPED??? DROP ON THE FLOOR?! OMG!!!" I was speechless again, stupid mouth speak wrong words easily especially in chinese! So, Angela and Yi Jiang was laughing... Hai.. so 'ps'...

The good thing is the two of "them" apologise to each other i think... and drop the matter. Assuming, I think both of them became friends again. :]

It was 4.30pm. Jun Xiang, Aizuddin and I were preparing for out talentime on 1st April. After I set up my trombone and washed the mouthpiece, Aizuddin and Jun xiang danced while I played the background music.... This period led me to be annoyed...

RE: NIGHT BAND PRACTICE

Every friday, it's the most tiring day but luckily there is no school the next day.

Today, something bad happened again.

Let's just say that Yi Jiang is generous today as he is willing to treat me a MACSpicy burger in Macdonald. HOWEVER! He was nasty to me after that. He used the broom "other people one" and sweep my face just as I turn over. WHAT THE HELL?! The feeling was like... DISGUSTING... Most of you might be laughing now... it's not funny.. wah lao weh... the broom can be used to sweep not just dirt but unpleasant waste ALSO!! EEEE!!! But I never do anything to him lah... "suan le, suan le". Since treated surprisingly well today, I only walked off before he used the broom again and chase after me around the HDB.

Dropping the subject, I am going to share my experience on today's life.
Well, as you're know the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Competition is looming ahead and this also shows that band practices will increase. On every friday, we would have NIGHT practice... woohoo! [ 5.30pm - 9.30 pm ]

COOL MAN! I came earlier today after being tutored by Mr Yap and had my lunch with Yi Jiang because I got nothing to do after that. But the moment I reached there (3.30pm), only two people turned up for early "extra" practice. The three of us played some songs and I was trying to play without my score. hahas. Oh ya, hopefully we did not disturb the choir. We would try to play softer next time... hahas.. At 4pm, my seniors arrived and it's time for my 2nd lunch so I need not need to eat my dinner liao. It's indeed a heavy lunch that I almost felt so tired and closed my eyes.

Well, bad news today :(
Our instructor, was commenting on our choice piece and set piece. He told to bulk up now before it's too late. Choice piece was horribly done on the fast parts but we surprisingly improved on the slow part. Set piece was doubtful initially. Nonetheless, he said that we might BE ABLE TO MAKE IT. I was pondering that maybe we still got some hope to clinch a GOLD. Sectional practice will also be conducted unless our Sectional Leaders told us not to. Cough... wahh... having sore throat now...

WE MUST GET A GOLD!!! OUR EFFORTS MUST NOT BE PAID OFF.

What to do? SO BUSY during the weekends le...
