RE: Sec 1 Student Leader Selection Camp

The camp was on 29 May - 30 May.

On the 1st day, we were told to bond with our respective sec 1 group members. Sadly, our group seemed to be too quiet. But luckily, on the second day (today), they were pro-active and quite committed, especially Jack.

It was indeed a very exhausting day as we went for a 7 hours hike at Bukit Timah nature reserve. Our group was the first one to set off! As a facilitator, I can see that the students had some teamwork spirit when they were searching for the way for the checkpoints, as well as, finding the clues.

After we came to the end of the Zhenghua Park, we went into a forest (Bukit Timah Nature Reserve). We could not make too much noise from that point onwards due to some specific reasons. Everyone have to shout "bike" each a bike approaches towards us. We have to keep our left to give way for the cyclist. It was very fun but we got lost eventually. Miss Jess told the sec 1 leaders to sacrifice their food if they wanted her to bring them to the correct route. And so, the group gave her "Nutella". The roads were extremely wobbly and was not that easy to balance yourself. They were down slopes with many stones and branches on the UNEVEN floor. It was so dangerous and you could not even just rush down like that.

We also saw big and colourful spiders which may be poisonous. It was a little bit terrifying.. Imagine the big spider just jump on you... how would you feel?

It was about to rain when we suddenly realised that the sky turned threatening. The forest was so chilling and dark. But in the end, it only rained about 15 minutes and then it stopped. It was not very heavy.

After we had our lunch, we walked back to school from bukit panjang nature reserve. It was far! but healthy for us (exercise). Throughout the whole hike, we had walked about 13 km in total. My legs are now "hibernating". This camp is overall fun.

RE: LIFE AFTER EXAM

Sorry for not posting quite some time. I had been neglecting my blog ever since I played a game in facebook. Anyway, all my SA 1 results had came out but not the overall for the Semestral Assessment One. I am only happy with my Science but the rest are just simply atrocious. My results had been declining from the start of April. I dunno what had happened to me...

Okay, basically, my band practice resumed immediately after exam. And now, it's time for us to practice three songs for the upcoming performances at Marina Barrage, School (Award's day) as well as a Garden for our Band Fiesta (Only Gold/Gold with Honours bands). Wow... going to have a busy schedule soon. Something also happened. I most likely could not attend my class chalet due to a clash on my band camp. == So sad...

Yesterday, was considerably a "scary" day. It was our IDPW presentation at the hall. Our group had been selected which I think may be a "lucky" thing. Three of our group members were not here yesterday. Aloysius and Aizuddin go for NCC camp while Yi Jiang had a toothache??? (according to him). Thus, Jun Xiang and I took over their lines which was quite a number! When Amirah and Idayu announced our group up to the stage. We were absolutely nervous. I said some wrong words at the start of the presentation but after that it was totally okay. Hsien Yong and gang were giving us "encouragement" but actually I dun mind.. "Bird (me -,-)... Bawang! (my friend)" In the end, I was quite surprised that we got champion for the challenge. Seriously, very shocked... but still happy... very rare that my class would cheer for us when we got champion.. exhilarating =D. We got certificates for each member and popular voucher. All our effforts were paid off! ^^ Thanks for all the support friends!

RE: WEEE ~~~

Exams are finally over... Erm.. apologise for not posting for about weeks.
I really miss my CCA... I think I have forgotten how to play trombone because of no practises... Lols.. okay.. anyways, I think I may not do well in this year's mid year... why?

The geography paper was shocking difficult.... The MCQ was deadly done... How am I going to get A1 like that?

The science paper was easy but due to last minute revision, I forget some of the skills like the concave mirror thing... wah.. my foot.. that was supremely easy but then... I lost 3 marks.. Blanks cost me 7 marks because I ran out of time.

Science was just a waste. In fact, a tremendous one. -.-

The chinese paper... compo... 200 words (min. 280) only.. How am I going to pass like that?? Might flunk paper 2 too...

The english paper 1 was okay but the first comprehension on paper 2 was arduous.

The history paper was okay.. but MCQ is... gone! -,-

The Art paper was fine.

The DNT was a killer paper.. what Ms Jess says was true... difficult paper... :[

The Maths P2 was very hard.. left many blanks... Paper 1 was quite easy... still ok lah...

See? Overall, I did quite badly liao... oh no... I am gonna get shit from my parents soon....
